IWBNet

An influential interactive teaching and learning community

Now that I've returned from the NECC 2008 conference in SA, I'm very excited about adding Wikkis, Blogs and Podcasts to my class content.
This will be the spot to talk about what I am trying, and tell how it is going.

I LOVED that book!
Right now, my ideas are not developing a lot. I am in the "school's starting soon..." mode. That means I clean files and drawers;)

Hello Alice, I also went to NECC. I would be very interested in how your ideas are developing. At NECC I went to several sessions on using wikis in the classroom. I plan on having the students make a study guide for the Secret Life of Bees on a wiki.

Aha, another "wikied blogger" in the mix, but don't tell too many you never know what they may make of you :).

Seriously great to hear that you have come away from NECC so enthused. Even better for you is that some of the best thinkers and exponents about the use of blogs, wikis etc in Australia will also be attending at Firbank. Make sure that you get to know them and join them to your personal learning network. Some might say it will be the best thing you do at the conference.
